Spotlight: Dam well-beaten half-sister to Champion Hurdle winner Annie Power; 10-1 and hooded for bumper at Cheltenham (good) in April when her close fourth of 18 from out the back, just behind Sheezer Dancer, showed plenty of promise.

Spotlight: Irish point winner who was bought for £130,000 in April 2024; winning at Ludlow and stylishly at Ascot (good) saw her start third favourite for the Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree (good to soft) in April but she was well held in ninth of 20; it's too early to forget her initial promise and her dam was a pretty useful hurdler.

Spotlight: Half-sister to pretty useful 2m1f-3m1f hurdle winner Scarpia; dam 2m3f-3m1f hurdle winner; 14-1 from 22-1 for 15-runner bumper at Clonmel (2m4f, good to yielding) in April and won it easily; changed hands since and left Richie O'Keeffe; looks a highly promising recruit.

Spotlight: Showed plenty of ability in all her four bumpers (won one, at Warwick) and came 11l sixth of 20 in the Aintree Grade 2 in April when last seen; from a strong jumping family (sister to very smart Strong Leader, for instance) so the best from her is surely still to come.

Spotlight: 60,000euros 3yo; 3-1 favourite for bumper at Cheltenham (good) in April and came a close third of 18, just in front of Hornica who made very similar progress from the rear; that debut augured well.

Spotlight: £280,000 buy last December after winning an Irish point (good ground; well-backed favourite) and easily dealt with her five rivals in a bumper here (good) in March; flopped, however, when 8-11 in a mares' novice hurdle at Worcester (2m, good) 15 days ago, racing freely; a hood goes on.

Spotlight: Dam dual bumper and 2m-2m5f hurdle winner, including Listed; 25-1 for bumper at Stratford (good to soft) in October 2024 but led 4f out to win it by nearly 9l; left Pat Murphy since; absent 371 days but needs a second look.

Spotlight: Won at Aintree (good) last October on bumper debut; however, she came up well short in Listed event at Huntingdon (soft) in December and was eased as if something amiss in Aintree Grade 2 (good to soft) in April, so there are very mixed messages from those three bumpers.

Spotlight: Half-sister to high-class bumper/jumps winner Ballycasey; changed hands for £70,000 after winning an Irish point last November but fifth of six in bumper at Hexham (good) in May was a muted start under rules.

Spotlight: Won easily at Southwell (good) on debut in May 2024 but held in Listed bumpers on next two starts and tailed off in the Grade 2 at Aintree; has since left Ben Brookhouse; hurdling debut and others bring much stronger claims.

Spotlight: Runner-up on good ground in a bumper at Ascot (to Jackie Hobbs) in February and on hurdle debut at Fontwell (2m3f) in May; surely needs to improve to win this, however, whereas she was well beaten at Worcester in August, having boiled over in the preliminaries; a hood goes on.

Spotlight: Beaten 11l in a bumper at Fontwell in May and pulled up in novice at Worcester (again on good) 15 days ago; 7-1 in both but she's hard to fancy.

Spotlight: Left clear when winning her final Irish point and then changed hands for £20,000; 10-1 for bumper at Cheltenham (good) in April and pulled hard before ending up in 15th of 18; some caution is therefore advised.
