Void Bets

Maximum Payouts

The maximum daily payouts on any bet, including Ante Post, are as detailed below.

The maximum payout limits apply to individual events.

The limits below refer to the total return on the bet, excluding the original stake.

Bets placed in Euro (€) are subject to the maximum payout limits outlined below in Euro (€) amounts and Bets placed in Sterling (£) are subject to the maximum payout limits outlined below in Sterling (£) amounts. For all other currencies, the currency equivalent will apply using the EUR currency exchange rate on the day of settlement of the bet.

General Sports Rules

  • 1) Abandoned matches

If a match is abandoned before Full Time* has been played, bets on the match outcome will be void, unless an official result is declared. Bets on all markets which have been unconditionally determined will stand, for example in Football, First Goal Scorer bets will stand if a goal has been scored.

*Full time is determined by the rules of the specific sport, please refer to any special rules or terms in relation to that sport.

  • 2) Knock out competitions

Tournament betting will be settled on the player or team that wins the trophy. We will settle bets in knock out competitions, on the competitor who qualifies for the next round. This applies as long as the match has started and is not drawn and replayed. If the match is drawn and replayed, bets will stand on the replayed match. Unless we advertise other terms, we will settle outright betting on the player or team that lifts the trophy.

  • 3) Non-Runners

Sports bets are accepted 'All in compete or not' and if a player or team is withdrawn before they have taken part in the event (in any way), your bet is a loser. If the event is advertised 'Non-runner no bet', stakes will be refunded on a player or team withdrawn prior to the start of an event. If you have placed a winning bet on a sporting event when a different player or team is withdrawn, we may apply the equivalent to a Tattersalls' rule 4(c) to your winnings, based on the price of the selection withdrawn

  • 4) Outright/Tournament & Handicap Betting

When odds for both Outright/tournament and handicap betting are advertised, the bet will be settled on the Outright/tournament result unless the handicap price is specifically selected at the time the bet was placed.

  • 5) Player/team withdrawn after the official start

If a player or team has taken any part in the sporting event once it has officially started and then fails to complete for whatever reason, we will settle your bet as a loser.

  • 6) Related bets

Multiplied odds do not normally apply for the same selection to win more than one event and the only bets available at the current odds are singles.

We may have special prices available that apply to selected doubles, trebles, accumulators and so on. For example: 'Warwickshire to win all three English county tournaments' or 'Jon Rahm to win all 4 Major golf titles'. If you take a special double price for the same selection in two events and the selection does not take part in one of them, your bet will be settled as follows:

If you have placed your bet before the 'day of event' for both events, our normal Ante Post rules apply. This means that if your selection does not take part in one of the events we will settle your bet as a loser. This applies even if your selection has been successful in the other event.

If you have placed your bet on the 'day of the event' for one of the events and your 'day of event' selection does not take part, this will be treated as a non-runner and the bet will become a single for the remaining Ante Post event. We will then settle your bet based on the price and place terms available at the time you placed your bet (normal Ante Post bets apply).

  • 7) Results

In the case of Football and other Sports, bets are settled on the official result published by the Press Association (PA), immediately after the match/event is finished. If the PA amends their decision after this period, all bets will stand on their original result. If the result is not immediately available from the PA, the result published by the official governing body immediately the match/event is finished will be used for settling purposes. Any subsequent corrections or amendments to this result will not apply for settlement purposes. Please refer to specific rules for individual events.

  • 8) Season Handicap Bettings

Season Handicap bets are settled by adding (or subtracting) the handicap start value to the final points total of all selections in the market at the end of the season. In the event of a tie, dead heat rules apply.

  • 9) Venue changes

If your team is no longer playing at the venue advertised, your bet will still stand. This applies as long as the venue has not been changed to the opponent's ground (or in the case of international matches, as long as the venue remains in the same country).

Football

  • General

All match markets are based on the result after the scheduled 90 minutes play including injury/stoppage time.

Extra time, penalty shootout or golden goal do not count unless otherwise stated.

If a game takes place with a non-standard format of 90 mins (2 x 45 min halves) then all bets will be void. Exception to this, will be certain Youth and Women matches where 70mins (2 x 35min halves) or 80mins (2 x 40min halves) are normal match lengths and bets will stand.

If a team starts a match with less than 11players then all bets will be void

If a match is abandoned before 90 minutes playing time has elapsed, then all unresolved markets will be void, unless it is completed the same day.

Matches that are postponed will be void unless they play the same day

If the venue of a match changes, bets placed will stand, unless the match is switched to the away team’s ground, in this case, bets will be void.

For matches played at neutral venues, the team listed on the left are still classed as the 'home' team for settlement purposes.

  • Divisional Betting

Bets are settled on the final League positions at the end of the scheduled season, irrespective of what happens in the Divisional play-offs, with bets on 'who will win' a League being settled on the team who lift the trophy. Bets will stand on any team that does not complete all of their fixtures. In the event of a tournament or league not completing all fixtures, all bets will be settled using the Official Result from the Governing Body.

Season Handicap bets are settled by adding the handicap start value to the final points total of all selections in the market at the end of the season. In the event of a tie, dead heat rules apply.

Season match bets are settled on which of two teams will place highest in the league at the end of the season. If teams finish level on points, then the tie breaker used by the league (e.g. goal difference or head-to-head records) will decide the winner.

  • Bookings

Bookings that take place in extra time, cards cancelled by the referee during the match, cards shown to non-active players, cards shown to managerial or coaching staff, or cards shown after the final whistle do not count.

  • Bookings Points

Bets are settled by adding the points per card issued within 90 minutes: Yellow card is 10 points, Red card is 25 points, and a maximum of 35 points can be awarded per player.

  • Corners

Bets are settled on the total corners taken, not awarded

Timing of corners and penalty kicks

For settlement purposes, the timing of any corners and penalty kicks will be based upon the time the kick was taken and not the time at which it was awarded.

  • Goalscorers

We will make every effort to quote prices for all probable players. However, prices for unquoted players will always be available on request and those players will count as winners in the event that they score. Own goals do not count for settlement purposes, If the only goal scored within 90 minutes is an own goal, then 'no goalscorer' will be deemed to have been the outcome.

In the event of there being a correction to a goalscorer on an inplay game, any bet taken on that goalscorer between the time of goal and the correction, will be made void, regardless if he scores a subsequent goal

  • First goalscorer

Stakes are refunded on any player who takes no part in the match or who comes on as substitute after the first goal has been scored

  • Last Goalscorer

All players taking part at any point of the match are deemed to have played for the purposes of Last goalscorer bets, irrespective of whether they were on the pitch at the time the last goal is scored.

    Score at any time/ 2+ /Score a hat-trick

All players taking part at any point of the match are deemed to have played for settling purposes.

  • Goalscorer Match Bets

When we have a match bet for two players in the same game, both players must start the match for bets to stand. If either player fails to start, bets are void.

  • Score and Win

Choose a player to score in a Match and that Players Team to Win. If the Player does not take part in the match, then the whole bet will be Void.

  • Scorecasts (first player to score and correct score)

To win you must successfully forecast both the player who will score the first goal in a selected match and also the correct score after 90 minutes play. Scorecasts are available on all matches where correct score and first player to score odds are available. The Scorecast 0-0 and no goalscorer is settled as a correct score single. If your selected player joins the match after the first goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, Scorecast bets will revert to a single on the correct score. For first goalscorer purposes, own goals do not count, so in this circumstance, the Scorecast will be settled on the next goalscorer and correct score of the game. If the correct score is 1-0 and the goal is an own goal, Scorecast bets are settled as a correct score single. If a match is abandoned prior to the completion of 90 minutes and a goal has been scored, Scorecast bets are settled as first goalscorer singles. If no goal has been scored, all bets are void.

  • Highest Scoring Game/Team

Bets on which game will produce the most goals on a given matchday. In the event of a tie, Dead Heat rules apply. Only the named games count for betting purposes. If a match is postponed or abandoned then all bets are void

  • Top League/Tournament Goalscorer

Bets placed on a player to be the top scorer in a given league are based on regular season games only. Any goals scored in subsequent play-off games do not count for betting purposes. Once a player is named in the squad and has the opportunity to play in the league that season, bets will stand. If more than one player finishes on the same number of goals, then dead heat rules apply. Goals scored in Extra-Time will count, but goals scored within Penalty Shootouts will not count

  • Results

In the case of football and other sports, bets are settled on the official result published by the Press Association (PA). If the PA amends their decision at a later date, all bets will stand on their original result. If the result is not immediately available from the PA, the result published by the official governing body immediately after the match/event is finished will be used for settling purposes. Any subsequent corrections or amendments to this result will not apply for settlement purposes.

  • Definitions Goal/Own Goal

Different governing bodies have different rules, and where possible Opta works with the relevant people to reflect their official decisions on goal scorers.

Regarding deflections, normally a goal is awarded if the original attempt is on target. An own goal is usually awarded if the attempt is off target and deflected into the goal by an opponent.

    Shot on Target

A shot on target is defined as any goal attempt that:

    • Goes into the net regardless of intent.

    • Is a clear attempt to score that would have gone into the net but for being saved by the goalkeeper or is stopped by a player who is the last-man with the goalkeeper having no chance of preventing the goal (last line block).

Shots directly hitting the frame of the goal are not counted as shots on target, unless the ball goes in and is awarded as a goal.

Shots blocked by another player, who is not the last-man, are not counted as shots on target.

    Shot off Target

A shot off target is defined as any clear attempt to score that:

    • Goes over or wide of the goal without making contact with another player.

    • Would have gone over or wide of the goal but for being stopped by a goalkeeper's save or by an outfield player.

    • Directly hits the frame of the goal and a goal is not scored.

Blocked shots are not counted as shots off target.

    Blocked Shot

A blocked shot is defined as any clear attempt to score that:

Is going on target and is blocked by an outfield player, where there are other defenders or a goalkeeper behind the blocker.Includes shots blocked unintentionally by the shooter’s own team mate.

Clearances off the line by an opposition player (last line blocks) are counted as shots on target and do not get counted as a blocked shot.

    Goal Assist

The final touch (pass, pass-cum-shot or any other touch) leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. If the final touch is deflected by an opposition player, the initiator is only given a goal assist if the receiving player was likely to receive the ball without the deflection having taken place. Own goals, directly taken free kicks, direct corner goals and penalties do not get an assist awarded.

    Direct Free Kick for Goals/Shots

Direct free kick shots are any attempts created directly from the free kick itself (unassisted).

    Body Part for Goals/Shots

The following four body parts are collected: Right foot, left foot, head and other. Foot includes any connection with the leg.

    Location for Goals/Shots

The position of the ball, when the shot is taken (shot origin).

Any event happening on a line, will be considered inside that area. For example, a shot on the 18-yard line will count as being inside the box.

    Pass

Any intentional played ball from one player to another. Passes include open play passes, goal kicks, corners and free kicks played as pass – but exclude crosses, keeper throws and throw-ins.

    Tackle

A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. The tackled player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made. It is not a tackle, when a player cuts out a pass by any means.

    Video Assistant Referee (VAR)

We reserve the right to void any bet, where a bet is settled, or the price taken is affected by a VAR decision. This rule will begin at the time of the incident that is being reviewed and not the subsequent time of the decision made. Bets will stand if the review does not alter the decision made by the on-field officials, or the decision changes the on field decision but bets are not affected.

    • 7) NFL Bet Builder

BoyleSports standard American Football rules will apply to Bet Builder bets unless specifically stated otherwise.

If a match is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time, your bet on that match will stand.

Matches which are switched from the originally advertised venue will stand unless the revised venue is not considered neutral.

  • 1) Australian Rules Bet Builder Rules

    1. All AFL selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. For instance, selections on a team to win a match where the game finishes in a draw, whether the final result has been determined with or without extra time, and even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through BetBuilder, will be settled as losers. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a quarter or half finishes scoreless, then goal or point-scoring selections such as First or Last Goalscorer for that period will be settled as losers.

    2. All AFL matches will be settled on the official declared result including any extra time.

    3. All 2nd half and 4th quarter market selections do include extra time if it occurs. For example, a total 2nd half points selection would include the points scored in both the 2nd half and extra time.

    4. All player selections will be considered active if a player takes to the field of play as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the field of play during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to kick a goal in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the field during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or interchange/emergencies) and never took the field, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

    5. Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are void and stakes will be refunded.

    6. If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

    • 1. Bet Builder bets will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the field of play. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

      2. If every selection within a Bet Builder bet on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg Bet Builder bet containing an over total points selection and a certain player to kick a goal, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did kick a goal before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total points selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

      3. If a single selection of an Bet Builder bet has lost and a match is then abandoned, the bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a bet including a first goalscorer selection, in a game where a different player kicked the first goal and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.

      4. If there are no losing selections within a Bet Builder bet and at least one void selection at the time of a match abandonment, the bet will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at abandonment, and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a bet including an over total points selection, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.

    7. VENUE CHANGES - If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

  • BADMINTON

A match is deemed to have started with the first serve of the match.

If the statutory number of games is not completed, all bets placed on the correct game result will be void.

In the event of a match being awarded to a player before the full number of games has been played, match bets will stand for the official winner.

  • BANDY

All bandy bets will be settled on 90 minutes play unless specifically stated otherwise. Overtime does not count. If 90 minutes play is not completed for any reason then all bets will be void, unless an official result is declared. If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

The result will be determined by the dismissal method of the next wicket that falls.

A batsman retiring hurt does not count as a wicket. If a batsman is retired out, all bets will be void. If the specified wicket does not fall, all bets will be void.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 24) Batsman / Bowler Matchbet

In the event of a tie and no tie price is available then bet will be void, both players must bat. In limited overs matches, bets will be void if it has not been possible to complete at least 80% of the scheduled overs in the innings due to external factors, including bad weather, unless settlement has been determined.

In drawn First Class matches, bets will be void if fewer than 200 overs have been bowled, unless settlement of the bet has already been determined.

Both players must be named in the starting eleven. If either does not then subsequently bat all bets are still settled.

Runs scored / Wickets taken in a super over do not count.

In First Class matches will be 1st Innings unless specified.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 25) All Rounder Matchbet

In the event of a tie and no tie price is available then bet will be void, both players must be the starting 11. Points are scored as follows: 1 point per run, 20 points per wicket, 10 points per catch, 25 points per stumping.

In limited overs matches, bets will be void if it has not been possible to complete at least 80% of the scheduled overs in either innings due to external factors, including bad weather, unless settlement has been determined.

In drawn First Class matches, bets will be void if fewer than 200 overs have been bowled, unless settlement of the bet has already been determined.

Both players must be named in the starting eleven. If either player does not then subsequently bat or bowl then all bets are still settled.

Points scored in a super over do not count.

In First Class matches will be 1st Innings unless specified.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 26) Free Hit

The result will be determined by the number of runs added to the team total, off the specified delivery. If the free hit is re-bowled because of an illegal delivery, the runs scored off the second free hit do not count.

Extras and penalty runs will count towards settlement.

For example, if a wide is bowled on the free hit delivery specified, the result will be 1. Then another free hit market may be offered.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 27) Race to ‘x’ Runs

Rules: All bets stand, regardless of any curtailment.

    • 29) Next to Take a Wicket

All bets stand, regardless of any curtailment.

If none of the named bowlers take a wicket the market will be settled as ‘None of the above’.

For settlement purposes, a batsman retiring hurt does not count as a wicket.

Run outs, timed out, retired out and any other method of dismissal not awarded to a particular bowler will be settled as ‘None of the above’.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 30) Winning Over

All bets will be void if there is no official result.

In limited overs matches, all bets will be void if, subsequent to placing the bet, the maximum overs possible are reduced in any way.

If no more balls bowled after the bet is struck then bets are void.

    • 31) To Win Match & Toss

Team must win the toss and match must be completed with a result or bets void. Bets will be void if no toss takes place.

    • 32) Tournament / Series Top Batsman / Bowler

The player who scores the most runs or takes most wicket taker will be declared the winner. Dead Heat Rules Apply. These will be settled on all in run or not basis. If Tournament/Series is abandoned then all bets are void

    • 33) Tournament Runs / Wickets

For any game which is abandoned or reduced via Duckworth Lewis, only the total number of runs and wickets actually registered count.

    • 34) Total Tournament Wides

If a bowler bowls a wide, all extra runs taken from the wide delivery count e.g. if it goes for 4 and is scored as 5 wides; the delivery will count as 5 rather than 1 wide deliveries bowled.

    • 35) Total Tournament Run Outs / Stumpings

Bets will stand on the amount of run outs and stumpings in the tournament regardless of any matches being abandoned or reduced in overs.

    • 36) Total Tournament Fours / Sixes

Bets will stand on all sixes hit regardless of any matches being abandoned or reduced in overs. Dead-heat rules apply

    • 37) Cricket Bet Builder Rules

      1. All cricket Bet Builder selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified below, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. For instance, selections on a team to win a match where the game finishes in a tie or draw, regardless of whether the final result has been determined with or without extra innings or Super Overs, and even where the tie or draw may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers. Similarly, ‘Team to hit most sixes’ selections where neither team hits a six will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘Neither team will hit a six’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If an innings finishes without any wickets being taken, then wicket-taking selections such as ‘First wicket taker’ for that innings will be settled as losers. ‘Dead heat’ results such as ‘Player to topscore for his / her team’, where the highest score on the team was jointly reached by two more or players, will likewise be settled as losers.

      2. Bet Builder bets placed on cricket matches are not inclusive of any extra innings, Super Overs, One Over Eliminators, or equivalent methods for determining winners of tied matches. Match winner selections, along with all other markets, will be settled inclusive only of the regular match innings (i.e., 20 overs per team for Twenty20 games – if a match is tied and goes to a Super Over, the match will be settled as a tie, regardless of the outcome of the Super Over).

      3. Any reduced amount of play in a cricket match (one ball or more), due to weather or any other causes, will cause all currently active selections to be voided. For the purposes of this rule, an active selections is one that has not already achieved a settlement status at the time of the confirmation of reduced overs, as per the same parameters in point 6 of these rules relating to selections in abandoned matches.

      4. All player selections will be considered active if a player participates as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific phase of the match (i.e., batting / fielding / bowling) that the player may not have participated in. If a player never participates in the match at any point as an active player, selections specific to that player (and therefore the entire bet as per Section 1) will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to hit a six or take a wicket would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player only participated in the game as a substitute fielder, and did not bat or bowl in the match. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the team and never took the field, or was an unused substitute, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

      5. Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are void. Matches where the start date / time has been altered well in advance (e.g., to ease fixture congestion) may not be classified as postponed, at Boylesports discretion.

      6. If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

      • 1. Bet Builder bets will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the match as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

        2. If every selection within a Bet Builder bet on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg Bet Builder bet containing an over total runs selection and a certain player to hit a six, where that runs total has been reached and the player in question did hit a six before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total runs selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

        3. If a single selection of a Bet Builder bet has lost and a match is then abandoned, the bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a Bet Builder bet including a team to win the toss selection, where the other team won it and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.

For example, a Bet Builder bet including an over total runs selection, in a game abandoned while the total runs are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total runs selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.

        5. As per point 3 of these rules, the parameters for selections in abandoned matches also apply to matches where total overs are reduced. As such, at the time of confirmation of the reduction, bets where every selection has already won or at least one selection has irrevocably lost will be resulted as winners or losers respectively, and all other bets will be voided.

      7. If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided at match will be voided.

      8. SPECIFIC MARKET RULINGS:

      • 1. Retired batsman – in the event of a batsman retiring for any reason, all relevant batting markets for the batsman will be settled on his or her runs scored at the time of their retirement (as if they had been dismissed by the fielding team).

        2. Total team runs – all team total run markets stand regardless of the outcome of the toss. For example, in a Twenty20 match, ‘Team A to score 150+ runs’ is settled (as a loser) even when Team B bats first and scores a total of 140 runs.

        3. Who will be top scorer / bat for their team/in the match? – As per Section 1, any ties or dead heats in these markets will be settled as losing selections. If an unquoted/unpriced player is the top scorer, all selections in these markets will be settled as losers.

        4. Who will take a wicket? – These markets concern bowlers taking wickets. Run outs will not be classified as wickets for either the relevant bowler or for the player who ran the batsman out. ‘Mankad’ run outs, whereby the bowler runs out the non-striking batsman prior to a delivery, do not count as wickets for the bowler.

        5. Who will hit a four/six? – A four or six is any individual ball which the batsman scores four or six runs from, whether via boundaries or by running between the wickets. These runs must be attributed to the batsman (i.e., extras are not included).

        6. A hat-trick to be taken in a match – A hat-trick is defined as a bowler successfully dismissing three batsmen with consecutive deliveries (with run outs not counting as dismissals for this purpose). The deliveries may be separated across different overs from the same bowler (e.g. wickets on the 5th and 6th balls of a bowler’s over, and another on the 1st ball of his very next over), but must be three consecutive deliveries by the same player.

  • CURLING

All markets will be settled on the final score, regardless of how many ends have been played (including extra ends).

    • 1) Period Betting - '20 mins only'

Any existing score in the match is not carried forward, and so for the purposes of Period Betting, every period is considered as starting 0-0, as no goals have yet been scored in the period. For example, if your selected team wins a match 2-0, scoring in the 1st and 3rd periods, the period scores would be 1-0, 0-0 and 1-0. If you had bet on the team to win "2nd Period Betting - 20 mins only", although your team won the match, the winning selection for Period 2 would actually be "Draw".

Both Teams to Score a Goal

  • GOLF

All bets will be settled on the official result as declared by the relevant governing body at the time of the trophy presentation. Any subsequent disqualification or amendment to the result will not be considered for settlement purposes.

    • 1) Outright Betting

The result of any playoff where required is taken into account. Dead-heat rules will apply to the Place part of Each-way bets.

In the event of a play-off, the result of the play-off will determine the winner of the tournament. If three or more contestants take part, such a play-off has the sole purpose of deciding the winner of the tournament, and the relative finishing positions of unsuccessful contestants is not affected for Outright, Match, or Group bets.

When more than one player shares the same lowest score in a tournament and there is no play-off, win and place bets will be settled under normal dead heat rules.

For each way bets dead heat rules apply. For example, if each-way terms quoted for a tournament are for the first 4 places, then 3 players tying for third place will be deemed to have dead-heated for third, fourth and fifth place with 1/3 stake lost and 2/3 stake settled at full place odds for each way bets on those players.

In a dead heat the stake on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake with the remainder of the stake being lost.

Outright markets, including Top Nationality, Match & Group Betting, are offered on a non-runner no bet basis, and may be subject to a Rule 4 deduction in the event of a significant withdrawal.

Should a tournament be shortened, or otherwise affected due to weather conditions the trophy presentation will govern settlement, including tournament groups, matches, place only, top 10 and all other 72-hole markets provided at least 36 holes of the event have been completed.

Should 36 holes not be completed then all bets on that event will be void except markets that have already been decided i.e. 'first round 3-balls'.

A player is deemed to have played once they have teed off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off then stakes will be lost on outright, group, match or 18 hole betting.

Ante-Post bets on any player who takes part in a qualifying tournament but fails to qualify for the main tournament will be classed as losers.

Should there be no further play by any player after a bet has been struck that bet will be void.

    • 2) Match / Group Betting –

Group Betting markets are offered on a non-runner no bet basis, and may be subject to a Rule 4 deduction in the event of a significant withdrawal, and dead heat rules may apply.

Tournament match and group betting will be settled on the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament including play-off holes if played.

This will apply, even if both (or all) players 'miss the cut'; if one player in a match bet misses the cut then the other player is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut then the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement.

If a player in a match bet is disqualified, or withdraws after starting, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, then the other player is deemed the winner.

If a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when the other player in the match bet has already missed the cut, then the disqualified player is deemed the winner.

All bets relating to an individual's specific round(s) will be settled on the number of strokes registered on the score-card as signed by that competitor upon the completion of play.

If a tournament is affected by adverse weather bets will be settled providing that there is an officially deemed tournament winner and a minimum of 36 holes are completed. The winner will be the player in the lead at the end of the last completed round.

    • 3) 18 Hole 2 Ball / 3 Ball Betting –

This rule will also apply to any tournaments e.g. King of the ring, World Cup, Super Strong Style 16 etc.

Dead heat rules apply to multiple winners declared for any match.

In the event of PPV being cancelled, all bets on that event will be void.

Any change of competitors in scheduled matches will result in the initial matchup being made void.

  • SPEEDWAY

Bets on Grand Prix events will be settled on the official competition rules.

We will settle bets on the result of the podium presentation, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications.

Bets are accepted on the basis of 'All in, compete or not', so if a rider pulls out before the start of the meeting, bets on that rider will be settled as losers.

    • 1) Outright Championship Betting

      Ride offs do not count.

  • SWIMMING

If an event is cancelled for any reason prior to the event, all bets will be void. Bets are accepted 'All in compete or not' and if a swimmer is withdrawn before they have taken part in the event (in any way), your bet is a loser. If the event is advertised 'Non-runner no bet', stakes will be refunded on any swimmer withdrawn prior to the start of an event. The total medal tally will be determined by the officially published results.

  • TABLE TENNIS

If a match is abandoned before regular time is played, all bets on that match are void, except for those markets (e.g. race to 10 points or winner of a specific game) that have been unconditionally determined.

If a match is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time, your bet on the match will stand unless cancelled by mutual consent.

If a match in the Olympics or World Championships is postponed bets will stand providing the match is rescheduled to take place before the closing ceremony. If the match is no longer playing at the venue advertised, your bet will still stand. This applies as long as the venue has not been changed to the opponent's ground (or in the case of international matches, as long as the venue remains in the same country). In the event of a match not taking place or if a player/team is given a walkover, bets on that match are void. Where a player / team is withdrawn prior to the start of a tournament, we reserve the right to apply a Rule 4 deduction.

In the event of a match starting but not being completed all match and set betting will be void.

In the event of a change in the total number of sets played match bets will stand, but set betting will be void e.g. A match originally designated as 'Best of 5 sets' reduced to 'Best of 3 sets because of inclement weather.

If one player withdraws or is disqualified and the match has not yet started all bets will be void.

Bets placed after the semi-final stage will be classified as match bets, and in the event of the match starting, but not being completed, will be declared void.

In the event of any of the following circumstances taking place all bets will stand:

a change of playing surface; a change of venue; a change from indoor court to outdoor court or vice versa.

For Correct Set Score markets the full number of sets required to win the match must be completed for bets to stand. Should a player be awarded the match prior to the completion of the requisite number of sets all Correct Set Score bets will be void.

When a match at one set each is decided by a Champions Tie Break, that tie break will be counted as a set. Therefore the winner of that tie break will be settled as a 2-1 winner.

    • 3) 1st Set Winner –

In the event of the first set not being completed bets will be void.

    • 4) Tie Break in First Set/Match –

If a game is completed by the awarding of a penalty game by the umpire, the game shall be void, and all stakes shall be returned.

If a player retires from a match while a game is in progress, but before that game has been completed, that game shall be deemed to be incomplete and all stakes shall be returned.

    • 6) Set By Set Betting

    • 7) Total Games/Handicap Games

In the event of a 'no contest' being declared all bets will be void.

Should there be a substitution for one of the boxers, bets on the original contest will be void.

If the fight ends in a draw all bets will be void in 'To Win Fight'. In any other markets where the draw selection is offered that will be deemed the winner.

Bets will be settled on the official result announced in the ring; subsequent appeals/amendments do not affect settlement (unless the amendment was made due to human error when announcing the result).

    • 1) Method of Victory

For the purposes of this market a 'KO' includes the following:

      • • Referee stoppage while fighter is standing
      • • Referee stoppage while fighter is on the canvas
      • • Stoppage by doctor
      • • Stoppage by corner
      • • Fighter retires due to injury
      • • For the purposes of this market a 'submission' includes the following:
      • • Referee stoppage due to tap out
      • • Referee stoppage due to technical submission
      • • Fighter verbal submission (includes verbal submission due to strikes)
      • 32133
    • 2) Round Betting

If a fighter withdraws or the fight is stopped in the period between rounds, the fight is deemed to have ended in the previous round for the purpose of 'Round Betting' settlement.

e.g.if the fight is stopped by the doctor between rounds 2 and 3, Round 2 will be deemed the winner for betting purposes

Should the scheduled number of rounds be changed before the fight all 'Round Betting' bets will be void.

Where a half round is stated, then two minutes, thirty seconds of the respective round will define the 'half' to determine under or over or half the stated round time if it differs from the standard five minute round.

    • 3) UFC/MMA Bet Builder Rules

      1. All MMA selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser. Where a bet includes a selection resulted as void for any reason (such as a fight being ruled no contest after it has commenced), the bet will be settled in accordance with point 4 of these rules. For instance, selections on a fighter to get the most knockdowns, in a fight which ends with zero knockdowns, and even where a tie or draw option may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers.

      2. The winners of MMA fights will be resulted based upon the official result announced in the ring. Appeals or changes made to the winner after that point will not result in the fight being resettled (unless the change in question came from human error in the announcing of the result in the ring).

      3. Where a fight does not take place as scheduled, and subsequently commences on the same calendar date (local time) as originally scheduled, all bets will stand. All bets placed on fights which are postponed or delayed beyond the calendar date of the originally scheduled time will be void, and stakes will be refunded. The exception to this rule is where fights have been made available for betting using expected or nominal times/dates, in which case they will be updated to the official schedule once it has been confirmed. A substitution for one or both of the fighters in a match will cause all bets to be void and stakes to be refunded. A pre-fight change to the scheduled number of rounds in a fight will cause all bets to be void, and stakes to be refunded. For the avoidance of confusion, the fight may be subsequently reopened to betting through Bet Builder with the amended number of rounds; if it is, bets placed from the point of that reopening will stand.

      4. If a fight is rescheduled or cancelled prior to commencement, it falls within the 48-hour rule for postponed fights as described above. If it is abandoned or ruled no contest (NC) while the fight is ongoing, the following rules apply:

      • 1. If every selection within a bet on the fight is already a winner where the fact of no contest/abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg bet containing an over total knockdowns selection and one fighter to record a takedown, in a fight where the required knockdowns were reached and the relevant fighter did record a takedown before the fight was ruled a no contest or abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total significant strikes selection where a fight is ruled NC while the significant strikes total is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

        2. If a single selection of a bet has lost and a fight is then abandoned or ruled NC, the bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a bet including a fighter to record under 1.5 takedowns, in a fight where he/she recorded 2 takedowns before the fight was subsequently ruled NC, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the fight was subsequently abandoned or not.

        3. If there are no losing selections within a bet and at least one void selection at the time of a fight being ruled NC, the bet will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at the point of the ruling/abandonment, and may have won or lost if the fight had been fully completed. For example, a bet including an over total significant strikes selection, in a fight ruled NC while the total significant strikes are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the NC, so the bet will be voided. Similarly, a selection on the fight to last over 1.5 rounds, or on the method of victory for the fight, will be resulted as void where the fight is abandoned/ruled NC before 1.5 rounds have elapsed.

      5. Where a fight ends in a technical decision, fight winner will be settled as win/lose/draw, and Method of Victory will be settled as Decision. All other markets will be settled as per the abandonment/no contest rules above. Where selections have irrevocably concluded, they will be settled as a win or loss, but otherwise where they are undecided at the point of the fight stopping, and may have won or lost if the fight had been fully completed, they will be settled as void.

      6. Settlements will be based upon the statistics and results provided by the official website of the event/league/competition/governing body www.ufc.com

      7. SPECIFIC MARKET RULINGS:

      1. What will the method of victory be? – The methods of victory for this market include:

      a. Knockout (KO):

      • i. A fighter retiring due to injuries

ii. The fight being stopped by a doctor, or a fighter’s team/corner

iii. The fight being stopped by a referee, where one or both fighters are standing or on the canvas, where the stoppage is not officially considered a submission

iv. Disqualification of one fighter by the referee

      b. Submission:

      • i. A fighter verbally submitting to the referee (whether the submission was made due to strikes or not)

ii. A referee stoppage resulting from a tap-out

iii. A referee stoppage resulting from a technical submission

      c. Decision:

      • i. Unanimous, majority and split decisions

        ii. Technical decisions

      2. When will the fight end? – Decision victories do not count as wins for selections on a fight to end in round 3 of a 3-round fight, or round 5 of a 5-round fight. If a fighter withdraws or a doctor stops a fight in the period between rounds, the fight will be considered to have ended in the previous round for this market.

      3. How long will the fight last? – These markets include selections on fight length by seconds, minutes or rounds.

      • a. Minutes: This market is offered in increments of 1 minute, starting from 0.5 (i.e. over/under 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 minutes, etc). Where a fight ends with the official clock showing exactly 30 seconds past a minute (e.g. 0:30, 1:30, 2:30), it will be deemed a completed half minute for the purposes of this market, and the fight considered to have progressed to the next half-minute. For example, where a fight ends at exactly 3:30 in the first round, a selection on the fight lasting over 3.5 minutes will be settled as a winner, and a selection on under 3.5 minutes will be a loser.

      • b. Rounds: This market is offered in increments of 1 round, starting from 0.5 (i.e. over/under 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 rounds, etc). Where a fight ends with the clock at the exact halfway point of a round (e.g. 2:30 for 5-minute rounds), it will be deemed a completed half-round for the purposes of this market, and the fight considered to have progressed to the next half-round. For example, where a fight with 5-minute rounds ends at exactly 2:30 on the clock in the second round, a selection on the fight lasting over 1.5 rounds will be settled as a winner, and a selection on under 1.5 rounds will be a loser.

  • VOLLEYBALL

Bets will be settled on the official result as declared by the relevant governing body.

All games must start on the scheduled date for bets to stand; otherwise all bets are void on that game.

If a match venue is changed, bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away team for a listed match are reversed, then bets placed based on the original listing will be void.

Games must go full scheduled playing time for bets to have action unless the specific market outcome is already determined.

For competitions where two legged ties have a Golden Set to decide which team progresses (in the event of the tie being level in matches won), then for settlement purposes the Golden Set does not count.

Where applicable the podium presentation will determine the settlement of bets. Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals will not affect bets.

In 2-Way markets Push rules apply unless otherwise stated. Stakes on single bets are returned, and in multiples the selection is treated as a non-runner.

  • VIRTUAL SPORTS

Podium positions will count as official results, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications.

If there is no podium ceremony, settlement will be determined in accordance with the official result declared by the governing body at the end of the event.

If a competitor or team does not start a race or tournament then bets placed on that competitor or team are considered to be losing bets. Stakes will not be refunded on selections in this case.

The dead heat rule applies to bets on an event where there is more than one winner, or the result is a draw or tie when no draw or tie price has been available.

    • 1) Postponed or abandoned events
